2018 to us was in the light of strengthened cooperation at local, national and international level among cultural workers from the independent scene. Among them, the most notable was the access to the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management. In May, together with LOKOMOTIVA-Center for New Initiatives in the Arts and Culture we hosted the first residential phase of the 2018-2019 generation in Ohrid, Struga and Skopje, with the Ministry of Culture as a partner. Tina Todoroska Petreska, representative from INCA, had the privilege of becoming a candidate for this prestigious degree. The second residential phase took place in Malta in October, and the reason is that Malta’s capital, Valletta, is the European Capital of Culture in 2018. In the meantime, we also made a study visit to our friendly organization Urban NoVa, in Herceg Novi. , Montenegro. We exchanged experiences, challenges and ideas for strategic partnership with them. For 27 years, the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management is a prestigious and recognized School of Cultural Management and International Cooperation. It is a valuable nomadic experience that you travel through; discovering destinations through the prism of the host country’s cultural values; but first of all you gain practical and theoretical knowledge of cultural policy, cultural diplomacy, cultural policy ethics and value verticals in international cooperation. The EU Diploma brings practical skills in project preparation with an international background, which includes the recognition of geopolitical and global contexts, as well as the operational working and funds management. Candidates work with an excellent pedagogical team and mentors, coming from the most important departments of cultural management in Europe. The final phase – “graduation” will take us to the mythical Delphi in June 2019. Until then, we share some great moments from this experience with you. For that, we owe special thanks to Robert Alagjozovski and Biljana Tanurovska Kjulavkovski, who initiated us to become part of this large family. Registration for the next generation of EU graduates is underway. http://www.fondation-hicter.org/spip.php?rubrique62. An opportunity worth experiencing.
